Stranger Things 4 isn’t exactly around the corner. Production is starting in January 2020, so at the earliest, we’ll get to watch it this time next year, and that’s optimistic. The third season, in my opinion, was the show’s best yet, so the wait to see what happens next is already agony.

As most of you are aware, season 3 ended on a cliffhanger (sort of) with the presumed death of Sheriff Hopper and a quick trip to Russia, where an unidentified American is being held hostage. We’ve spent the months since July debating, theorizing, and wondering if that American is indeed Sheriff Hopper. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to find out, but that is definitely a mystery I’m looking forward to being solved when the series returns.

Season 3 also spent some time cultivating new and old relationships and friendships, all of which were delightful. Robin and Steve? Heck yes! Suzie and Dustin? Can we get more? Eleven and Mike? How cute are they?

With Stranger Things 4 still a ways away, it gives us plenty of time to think about who and what we’d like to see when the show returns. So, without further ado, here are four things we desperately want to see in Stranger Things season 4.
