Who is Boba Fett?

Boba Fett first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back, played by Jeremy Bulloch. He was one of several bounty hunters sent by Darth Vader to capture the crew of the Millennium Falcon. Unlike the rest of that motley crew, he succeeds, tracking down Han Solo and ensuring that he can be frozen in carbonite. Vader lets Boba have the body, and Boba decides to turn Han Solo in to Jabba the Hutt and collect the bounty on his head.

Despite having very little screen time, Boba Fett developed a large and loyal following. Most agree that it was the badass armor and helmet. This was always a Halloween costume waiting to happen:

As we learned in Attack of the Clones, Boba was actually an unaltered clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, who raised him as a son. But Jango was beheaded by Mace Windu towards the end of that movie, leaving Boba an orphan. After that, Boba inherited his father’s ship, Slave I, and he learned the bounty hunting trade from Aurra Sing, a fairly infamous bounty hunter in her own right.
