Boba Fett!?

Ahsoka isn’t the only familiar face fans will see in this next season. Temuera Morrison, the actor who played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones and Commander Cody and all the other clones in Revenge of the Sith, will be making an appearance as Jango’s son Boba Fett.

The first season may have teased the return of the infamous bounty hunter at the end of Chapter 5, when he examined the dead body of Fennec Shand. The cowboy spurs boots, his radar’s sound, and his cape all but confirmed that Boba Fett was back.

This would mean he survived his fall into the Sarlacc Pit in Return of the Jedi. Chapter 5 also took place on Tatooine, the bounty hunter’s last known location, making this theory more plausible.

Now that Boba Fett is back, what is he up to? We won’t know for sure until the season airs, but we’re very curious. Boba isn’t technically a Mandalorian himself, but he’s still plenty skilled. We’re not sure if we’d rather they team up or duke it out.

Alternatively, the show could surprise us and have Morrison portray a clone soldier from The Clone Wars, such as Captain Rex. We already know Rex is alive in Star Wars Rebels, so another appearance from an old fan-favorite wouldn’t hurt either. Oh, a fan can dream.
