Tython

At the end of the episode, Ahsoka sends Mando and Grogu to the planet of Tython to find the ruins of an ancient Jedi temple that has a strong connection to the Force. She tells Mando to place the Child on the seeing stone at the top of the mountain. If Grogu connects to the Force, a Jedi might sense him and come looking for him.

Tython hasn’t appeared much in the Star Wars universe — not in movies, TV shows or books. And what we do know of the planet is shrouded in mystery. Many Jedi scholars debate whether or not Tython was the location of the first Jedi temple. Now we know it houses a stone that allows Force users to connect to the Force.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see the planet on next week’s episode and get a look at it for ourselves, and we’re curious to see if any Jedi appear. As Ashoka reminded us, there aren’t many left, but we wouldn’t put it past the show to surprise us with an appearance of a familiar face.

Maybe an entirely new character will be introduced. Is it possible we might even get an appearance from our favorite Jedi Knight, Luke Skywalker? It could be interesting to see what Luke was up to after the fall of the Empire (and before the sequel trilogy). Maybe this is too much to hope for, but a fan can dream.
