More Bobbie Draper action!

Our favorite butt-kicking Martian, Bobbie Draper, spent season 4 on the sidelines. She returned home and witnessed the death of the dream of terraforming Mars firsthand. With the opening of the ring opening, Martians jumped ship and headed to planets that could sustain human life, abandoning their homeworld.

She also interfered with a black-market operation, which led her to work with the same criminals she thwarted. Her storyline has been well-written, forcing her to grapple with her flagging patriotism. And it concluded with the promise of her returning to the action this season.

Judging by the trailer, Bobbie wastes no time getting to work cracking down on a conspiracy she unearthed last season. It also looks like she recruits fellow Martian Alex Kamal to aide her in her quest. She also tried to reach out to Avasarala for help during the season 4 finale. We’re not entirely sure how much help she’ll be since she lost her seat as the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Nancy Gao, but Avasarala usually has a few tricks up her sleeve.

It’ll be interesting to see how Bobbie reacts to Mars unintentionally helping Marco Inaros attack Earth. While it’ll be fun to see Detective Bobbie at work, she’ll hopefully get into the thick of things too as her character is pushed and developed even further.
