The character of Darcy Lewis made her Marvel debut way back in 2011’s Thor. Actor Kat Dennings has already said she’d play the astrophysicist again in the upcoming fourth Thor movie if Disney asked (which they haven’t), but if that doesn’t pan out, there are other options.

Dennings has been reacquainting fans with how great Dancy is over on WandaVision, the first-ever MCU TV show. Her character has team up with Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo as they both try to solve the mystery of what Wanda Maximoff is doing to the town of Westview. Speaking recently with Extra, Dennings said she’d be down to do a spin-off with just the two of them. “If it happens, I’m in.”

Kat Dennings’ return as Darcy has been a highlight on WandaVision

Darcy hasn’t been seen in the MCU since Thor: The Dark World, and her return as Dr. Darcy Lewis, now with her Ph.D. in astrophysics, has been great. But it’s Darcy’s chemistry with FBI agent Jimmy Woo that has fans talking.

Park’s character debuted in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Like Darcy, he was a secondary character getting a bigger spotlight on WandaVision. “As a fan, you don’t think that you’re gonna end up acting with certain people, so Darcy and Jimmy Woo…you wouldn’t expect that pairing, right?” Dennings said. “So, it’s even more fun to do. And I think when we were sitting there doing the scenes, I was like, ‘Oh, I bet people will like this.'”

With Disney+ constantly on the lookout for new content, a Darcy and Jimmy Woo spin-off is entirely possible; just add it to the pile of Marvel spin-off shows already on their way.

Though nothing has been announced as yet, knowing that Dennings is on board makes it a lot easier if Marvel decides to develop a project for Darcy down the line, and that’s a good thing.
