Ms. Marvel

Release Date: Late 2021

Cast: Iman Vellani, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Matt Lintz

Ms. Marvel is about to become the latest phenom in the MCU, but before she takes off in a feature film, fans will get to know her in her own TV series.

  1. Ms. Marvel could easily become one of the most relatable characters in the MCU. Iman Vellani is perfect as the Pakistani-American teenager who goes from writing fan fiction to inheriting superpowers. Seeing her explore the complexities of navigating life as a superhero is something we need.
  2. Vellani’s story will play into Captain Marvel 2, where she will team up with Brie Lason’s Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau. Look for lots of Easter eggs that lead into the movie!
  3. Ms. Marvel is a huge step forward for representation, and there will be lots of new fans who arrive in the MCU for her debut. Thankfully, Ms. Marvel starts out as a teenager, so there’s lots of time to watch her grow. She’s going to make a huge impact in the MCU moving forward.
