Valentina Allegra de Fontaine will appear again

One of the most surprising moments from the penultimate episode was the appearance of Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Who is Valentina, and what does she want with Walker?

In the comics, Valentina becomes associated with HYDRA and even assumes the title of Madame Hydra. In the show, she hands Walker a blank black-and-white business card and vaguely threatens him. She seems stereotypically villainous if you ask us.

Allegedly, Valentina was supposed to make her MCU debut during the solo Black Widow movie. Since that film was delayed, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier serves as her MCU debut. Maybe we’ll learn more about her motivations when Black Widow, and we can only assume what she is planning.

Since she may be affiliated with HYDRA, it would make sense to acquire an asset like John Walker, who recently took the super-soldier serum. HYDRA could really use one of those since Bucky is no longer under their control.

She may also be the Power Broker, as she knew Walker took the serum. Regardless of what she is planning and what she knows, we bet we will see the Contessa again before the series is over.
