New merchandise for Spider-Man: No Way Home has revealed the first look at a new black-and-gold suit for Marvel’s web-swinging superhero.

Spider-Man: No Way Home could quite possibly be the movie of the year (if not of all time), what with all the rumors that have been flying about it in the past year. From all the speculation about multiple Spider-Men joining the series to old villains coming on board, there’s a lot of hype around this one.

Naturally, fans have been going crazy with theories and speculation. We’ll likely keep guessing until Marvel finally decides to put us out of our misery and release a trailer, but new merchandise may give us a look into some of the changes in store, including a cool new suit for Spider-Man.

Let me show you what I mean. Funko released images of their new Spider-Man: No Way Home figures, which can be pre-ordered right now on Entertainment Earth. Hasbro and LEGO are also getting in on the action:

Based on the merch displayed on Marvel.com, it seems like Spidey will have multiple looks in this movie, including a new red-and-blue suit that has elements of his look from Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. And then there’s this cool new black-and-gold suit, which is epic.

As a Funko Pop, it looks amazing because the dark colors are enhanced by his big white eyes. This particular Pop is a Target Exclusive and can be pre-ordered on their website here.

There is also a Funko Pop of Spidey in flight wearing a black-and-red suit with what looks like wings behind him. It’s called the “Upgraded Suit,” and I’m curious to see what it can do!

Along with Spidey, we get Funkos for MJ, Ned, and interestingly enough, one of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange in casual attire (snow boots) holding a shovel. Not sure what that’s about, but I’m here for it.

There is also a collection of Hasbro Marvel Legends Figures, including one of J. Jonah Jameson. We’ve also got a Spider-Man Nerf Blaster and Jet Web Cycle. Oh, and a LEGO set of Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Workshop. Clearly, Spidey will be hanging out at Doctor Strange’s NYC home, which will only add fuel to the speculation fire.

I appreciate Marvel for giving us something No Way Home-related but I think we’re all just waiting for the trailer to drop.

Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into theaters on December 17, 2021, and will pick up after the events of of 2019’s Far From Home when Mysterio revealed Spider-Man’s identity to the world.

Next. Review: Black Widow is an underwhelming action flick. dark
