The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings tattoos

After The Hobbit came The Fellowship of the Ring, which kicks off the story Tolkien is most famous for. There are lots of images from this book worth memorializing in tattoo form:

"An homage to my all-time favorite scene in LOTR from lotr"

"My first tattoo from lotr"

"i did it! from lotr"

Of course, a lot of these images are drawn from Peter Jackson’s movie versions of The Lord of the Rings, which are just as beloved as the books. But one character who didn’t appear in the movies was Tom Bombadil, a strange figure the hobbits run across early in their journey.

Tom is a jolly sort who seems to have great power, but he’s more concerned with singing and his family life. It’s a strange subplot that often gets cut from adaptations, but it’s cool that fans are getting tattoos of it.
