“Queens” is a musical love letter to Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire, and a parody of the Broadway show “Six.”

The Song of Ice and Fire fandom is the gift that keeps on giving. To wit: a group of fans have put together a musical called Queens, all about the leading ladies of Westeros. The show is based on the musical Six, which imagines what the six wives of Henry VIII would be like if they were all pop stars.

Queens was put together by WesterosMusicals, which also produced a Game of Thrones/Hamilton mashup called “Westeros: An American Musical.” They describe the new show like this:

"Just like in the musical which “Queens” parodies, “Six: the Musical” by Toby Marlow and LucyMoss, “Queens” features six queens vying to become the favorite in an all-girl pop group. Asthey summarize the events of the books, the HBO show, and even prominent fan theories, thequeens learn that the true test of a ruler’s claim is how much their people love them…andthey’ve got some of the best fans in the world."

WesterosMusicals originally planned to mount the show in 2020, but then some world-altering event happened that shut down all public venues; I’m sure I’ll remember what it was eventually. Happily, the team was able to perform the show at the latest Ice & Fire Con, and you can watch it below!

Queens stars Tara Lynne as Cersei Lannister, Britt B as Margaery Tyrell, Lydia B as Asha Greyjoy,
Elle V as Arianne Martell, Kat V as Daenerys Targaryen, and Anna W as Sansa Stark. It also features Daisy A., Matt F., Joi L, Moe S, and Dom T. Book and lyrics by Chloé D., Dom T, and
Anna W., with Brian E.

Y’know, the Tony Awards are this Sunday. It’s not too late to give Queens all the honors, Tony people.
