We’re four episodes into the Lord of the Rings prequel series The Rings of Power, and so far we’ve met a bunch of characters, traveled to different locations, and have seen multiple storylines start to develop. Leading the ensemble cast is Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, someone fans should be familiar with from the books by J.R.R. Tolkien and Peter Jackson’s film trilogy. After her brother dies on a search to find Sauron, Galadriel is determined to continue his mission.
Along the way, viewers also get to know a younger Elrond (Robert Aramayo), a group of hobbits then known as Harfoots, an elf named Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova), and a mysterious man who falls out of the sky in a meteor (Daniel Weyman). It’s great fun to follow along with the events in The Rings of Power, and it looks really beautiful, too.
