We're just over a week out from the finale of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, but that doesn't mean we're even remotely ready to stop thinking about HBO's latest Game of Thrones series. Over the course of its six-episode first season, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms proved that it not only had the mettle to keep up with the mothership show or House of the Dragon in terms of action and medieval fantasy intrigue, but also that it's the most fun time viewers have had in Westeros in ages. It's a lighter, funnier show about a knight and his squire going on adventures, and the general consensus among viewers seems to be that the show utterly nailed this tonal shift.

Given how much fun it was to watch A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, it should come as no surprise that the cast and crew behind the show had a grand time producing it. HBO just released the blooper reel for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 1, and it's a fun little watch for anyone who missed seeing more of Dunk and Egg this past Sunday. Check it out:

Yes, Peter Claffey (Dunk) and Dexter Sol Ansell (Egg) have just as good of chemistry off-camera as they do on, even when they're breaking character and forgetting their lines. Another standout from the blooper reel should surprise no one: Daniel Ings (Lyonel Baratheon) makes a few appearances, where he struggles over a few of outrageous scenes in the season, such as inviting Dunk to heed his "call to war" and play tug-of-war with him, or when he's trying to figure out how the gigantic peasant knight wandered into his feast tent in the season premiere.

Shaun Thomas also shows up briefly as Raymun Fossoway, where someone farts and crashes one of his scenes. I'm just going to assume that's not the green apple's own gas, but rather some prankster waiting in the wings.

Often, the vibes on a production's set come through in the final product, and that certainly seems to be the case here. Filming A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was no heavy, drawn-out affair, but rather a nice little jaunt through Westeros that gave all its cast and crew plenty of room to have a good time. And that led to a good time for viewers as well. Here's hoping that season 2 manages to capture the same magic.

If you want to own this blooper reel for yourself, it's also going to be included as part of the A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Complete First Season physical disc release, out on June 16, 2026. Read about the the full special features list for the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD collection here.
