Last week’s episode was a huge one, making this week’s all the more anticipated. In case you forgot, “The Squire” concluded with Egg frantically delivering the news to Dunk that someone was in danger, only for Dunk to discover that the Prince Aerion was harming Tanselle. Seeing him break her finger, Dunk beat up Aerion, acting on emotion.

But the tension only increased from there when Egg entered and revealed that he is not a lowborn orphan from Flea Bottom like Dunk after all—he’s a Targaryen prince, and the brother of Aerion. The episode ended on dramatic music as Dunk made the realization, shocked he’d been so wrong this whole time.

The ending of Episode 3 has major implications for Episode 4, of course, as Dunk faces the consequences for his actions.

Episode 4 preview

Take a closer look at what we can expect in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Episode 4 in the preview below, giving us a tease of what Dunk has to deal with next:

Of course, Dunk is angry with Egg for keeping his true identity from him, but he’ll soon have to deal with much more than that. Aerion wants Dunk to die for what he did, but he proposes a trial of seven instead of a trial by combat. As seen in the preview, that means Dunk must enlist six other knights to fight with him. But does he even know six knights?
