Outlander season 7 part 2 release schedule: When do new episodes come out?

It's been over a year since fans got to watch the last new episode of Outlander, which ended with Jamie, Claire and Young Ian leaving the American colonies to return to Scotland. The second half of season 7 begins next month. Check out the full episode guide below:

• Episode 9, "Unfinished Business": Friday, November 22
• Episode 10, "Brotherly Love": Friday, November 29
• Episode 11, "A Hundredweight of Stone": Friday, December 6
• Episode 12, "Carnal Knowledge": Friday, December 13
• Episode 13, "Hello, Goodbye": Friday, December 20
• Episode 14, "Ye Dinna Get Used to It": Friday, December 27
• Episode 15, "Written in My Own Heart’s Blood": Friday, January 3
• Episode 16, "A Hundred Thousand Angels": Friday, January 10

New episodes will begin streaming at midnight on each of these days on the Starz app, Starz streaming and on-demand. If you're watching the episodes linearly, they'll air at 8:00 p.m. EST on Starz every Friday. If you want to stream the episodes but don't have the Starz streaming app, you can add Starz to Hulu for an extra fee.

Most of these episodes will be based on the seventh book in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, An Echo in the Bone, but the new episodes will also draw from the ninth book, Written in My Own Heart's Blood. How do we know that? Because one of the episodes is titled "Written in My Own Heart's Blood." They made it pretty easy.

The first and second halves of season 7 are coming out so far apart it almost feels like cheating to call them part of the same season at all. As far as I'm concerned, this is basically Outlander season 8. Which makes things a little complicated, because filming on the actual eighth season of Outlander wrapped up not long ago. The eighth season of Outlander will be the final season and will likely air sometime in 2025, although it's possible they could bump it into 2026. In any case, the end is in sight and Outlander fans are excited. See you on November 22!
