Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender joins our Fandom Madness winners circle!

Over the past couple of weeks, we've held our annual Fandom Madness tournament, where we take 64 characters from the worlds sci-fi, fantasy, movies, books and TV and pit them against each other in a series of head-to-head matches until only one remains. There were a lot of heated matches this time, but at last, a winner was chosen: Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender:

Aang had to overcome some stiff competition to claim his throne, besting characters like Kvothe from The Kingkiller Chronicle, Godzilla, Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings, Rhaenyra Targaryen from House of the Dragon, and finally Crowley from Good Omens, who has a passionate fan following. In fact, Crowley and his partner Aziraphale won our Fandom Madness Tournament in in 2023! But after a pitched battle that clocked in at nearly 15,000 votes, a new champion has emerged.

It's time to hang Aang's picture on of wall of champions. Here's who's won our tournament in the past:

Wondering why there was no Fandom Madness tournament in 2022? So are we. I guess we forgot. But that doesn't make winning any less of an honor!
