It's a new era in the Game of Thrones universe. House of the Dragon opens things up with the culmination of a long era of peace under the reign of King Jaehaerys Targaryen. No one was certain of it back then, but these would be some of the last years of quietude Westeros would see. After the passing of Jaehaerys's successor, Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine), a war would unfold for the right to sit on the Iron Throne. But after many battles and bloodshed, we finally have a resolution to that conflict (or so it would seem).
But before we dive any further: be warned. There will be MAJOR spoilers for House of the Dragon season 3, episode 2 ahead. If you don't want any surprises ruined, it's best to turn back now.

Still here? Great. Then you know that, for the first time in Westeros' history, a Queen is sitting on the Iron Throne. Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) was meant to be the undisputed successor to her father, Viserys, yet she had to fight for what was rightfully hers. Fortunately, all of the blood, sweat, and tears eventually paid off, and now she can rule over the Seven Kingdoms.
To commemorate the occasion, multiple real-life brands are starting to "pledge allegiance" to the new Queen by releasing tie-in promos in collaboration with House of the Dragon. That just goes to show how influential HBO's hit series really is, and how invested audiences are in the many tales of Westeros. After all, House of the Dragon season 3 premiered to 21.5 million viewers over its first three days, which is an impressive feat.
Burger King was one of the most fitting brands to have a promo collaboration with House of the Dragon. The fast food chain released a short video changing its name to "Burger Queen," all with a new logo that features Rhaenyra's crown. To top things off, the official Game of Thrones account commented on this post: "The Burger Queen, first of her name, is anointed before the Seven Kingdoms."
Starbucks also joined in on the action by posting a picture of a coffee cup for Queen Rhaenyra placed over the Iron Throne. Additionally, the company's logo features Rhaenyra's crown. The post also includes short videos showcasing the behind-the-scenes of this promo collaboration.
Stanley kept the trend going by posting a picture of its logo, which features a winged bear with a crown. However, if you look closely, you'll notice that the crown is a bit different than usual, as it is that of Rhaenyra. The post was accompanied by the following caption: "New crown for the new queen."
The Hallmark Channel and Canada Dry also jumped in on the trend of adding Rhaenyra's crown to their pre-existing logos, as showcased in the following posts:
King's Hawaiian also uploaded a picture of its iconic rolls with Queen Rhaenyra's crown. Furthermore, COBRA Golf's logo underwent a complete makeover. Now it features a gold color palette, new textures, and, of course, the iconic House of the Dragon crown.
Everyone is celebrating Rhaenyra's victory, but the chaos is far from over. After all, only two episodes of House of the Dragon season 3 have been released so far, and the story is set to culminate with a fourth season in 2028. The Greens are sure to retaliate, meaning even more bloodshed will come our way in the near future. But, for the time being, the whole world is celebrating that the Blacks have taken over the Iron Throne, and with good reason.
New episodes of House of the Dragon season 3 drop every Sunday on HBO and HBO Max.
