It's a good poster, although the most interesting thing about it may be the caption, telling us that an official trailer is coming tomorrow morning, Wednesday, February 12, at 8:00 a.m. EST.
We've already gotten a teaser trailer for The Wheel of Time season 3. If you've forgotten:
What's the difference between that teaser trailer and this upcoming proper trailer? Usually length. The teaser trailer ran for about a minute and 20 seconds. We can expect the proper trailer to go for over two minutes.
It will have a lot to show off. This next season of the show will adapt The Shadow Rising, the fourth book in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time book series. The Shadow Rising is often considered one of the best books in that series. A lot of big things happen for characters like Rand, Mat, Perrin and Nynaeve, things that could be a thrill to watch onscreen if the cast and crew can pull them off. We visit exciting new locations and return to some familiar ones. If this season is a success, it could catapult the series to a new level of notoriety. If it bombs, the show might not be able to recover. So far, the series has improved with each new season, so I have high hopes.
The Wheel of Time season 3 will consist of eight episodes. The new season will kick off on Thursday, March 13. If Prime Video is true to form, they'll release the first three episodes all at once, after which new ones will come out at a rate of one per week. Be sure to check back after the trailer drops when we'll have a way-too-detailed breakdown of everything that happened and what it means.
