The downside of Westworld’s second episode being out early

While we are thrilled that Westworld’s second episode has been released early, there is a definite downside to HBO’s decision.

ICYMI: We don’t know where Westworld is located, but we have been given some interesting clues.

HBO has released the second episode of Westworld  “Chestnut” early on HBO Go, HBO Now, and HBO On Demand. That’s fantastic news and we were thrilled to see the episode early, but there’s a downside to this generosity from our cable channel drama overlords… we now have to wait another week for the next episode.

HBO released “Chestnut” early for several reasons, but they won’t do the same thing with Westworld episode 3 “The Stray”. Now we have to wait over a week to get our next Westworld fix.

To make matters worse “The Stray” is a particularly highly hyped episode as it’s directed by Neil Marshall, who directed some of the best episodes of Game of Thrones.
