Could We See Present Day Logan In Westworld Season 2?

The Westworld Season 2 trailer confirmed Logan will return, but could we see him in present day?

Logan was a large part of Westworld Season 1, and although he could be an asshole, he helped push William to become the man he was meant to be. Fans love to hate Logan – who was portrayed masterfully by Ben Barnes – but he was an integral part of the show. Thanks to the trailer released during the Super Bowl, we know that Logan will return in Season 2.

The thing is, we don’t know Logan’s full story. Sure, we know his family is involved with Delos, but we’ve only met William. While we ultimately know William/Man in Black will become the head of the family company, we are dying to know what happened to Logan. For now, Ben Barnes is still playing Logan, but could we see his present-day counterpart in Season 2?

What Will We See Of Logan And William In Westworld Season 2?

We are currently 2 months away from the

Westworld

Season 2 premiere. And, based on everything we’ve seen, it looks like the park has been thrown into chaos. Beyond Ford’s narrative, we don’t know what the scope of Season 2 will be. We assume the hosts will venture to other parks (Shogun World in particular), but what other stories will be told?

Since Ben Barnes and Jimmi Simpson will be reprising their roles, it’s a fair bet that we will get more flashbacks. The story will likely pick up after the events of their Westworld vacation in Season 1, but to what extent is still a mystery. We can guess that we will learn more about William’s rise to power and the family he married into.

Although the Man in Black’s Westworld persona can be quite villainous, given his status, he is probably less murderous in the real world. Willliam’s new-found confidence he found in Season 1 will help him in his rise to power, but what of Logan? He will probably still be a foil for William in some regard and maybe a serious obstacle he must overcome.

Could We See An Older Logan In Westworld Season 2?

If Logan is still alive in present day – which is very likely – he could still be involved in the family business. Just because William is a majority shareholder, doesn’t mean he cut ties with Logan completely.

Now that all hell has broken loose in the park, present day Logan could make an appearance to help restore order. He’d be as old as the Man in Black, but he could have the resources and funds necessary to help. This is all contingent on him having a position in the company, but it’s as sound a theory as any.

Hopefully, we will learn more about Westworld Season 2 and maybe see Older Logan in present day. We still have a few months until Westworld Season 2 drops. Until then, we will continue to speculate on anything and everything Westworld.
