Photos from Westworld Episode 203, “Virtù e Fortuna,” tease an important reunion

HBO has released six all-new photos from the next episode of Westworld season 2: “Virtù e Fortuna.” It looks like we’re in store for bloodshed, mystery, and an important reunion.

The most important photo in the bunch shows Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), a confused look on his face, coming face to face with Dolores. We know this is happening after her robot uprising, because he’s wearing the same clothes he wore while escaping the murderous hosts with Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson) in the season 2 premiere, and because Dolores is wearing a bandolier across her front.

Next, we have Maeve (Thandie Newton) and Hector (Rodrigo Santoro) looking at…someone…or something. They also seem to be underground, or at least indoors.

Last we saw Maeve and company, she was still on the hunt for her daughter. Where will that quest take her?

Meanwhile, in Dolores’ world, she stands next to Teddy (James Marsden) after taking a bullet to the side. Angela (Talulah Riley) and Dolores’ army looks on.

Back to Bernard, here he is lying on the ground in front of Clementine (Angela Sarafyan), who’s armed with a rifle. We know it’s is Clementine thanks to a Korean trailer for season 2.

Maeve will seek her daughter below and above. Here, she, Hector, and Westworld narrator Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) ford a stream:

And finally, we’ve got Maeve and Hector at night, looking up as snow falls. Could this be our first glimpse of the much-anticipated Shogun World?

The title of episode 203, “Virtù e Fortuna,” is inspired by Niccolò Machiavelli’s The Prince, a treatise on the relationship between power, fate and free will. Sounds appropriate.

“Virtù e Fortuna” airs on Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. EST on HBO. It’s written by Roberto Patino and Ron Fitzgerald, and directed by Richard J. Lewis.
