Keeping up with the vast Marvel Cinematic Universe can be challenging, and that’s purely from a fan’s perspective. Now imagine what it’s like if you’re Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who seems to be doing interviews about upcoming MCU films and their secrets, just about every day…he’s bound to let a spoiler slip every once in a while, right?

The answer to that question is a resounding no. Feige is a pro, who’s been doing this for quite a long time, so he knows when to drop a calculated and strategically placed bit of information, in order to generate hype for a particular film, and he knows when to keep his mouth shut, when necessary.

Now to the point: Speaking to Critics Choice Awards reporter Erik Weber at a special screening of Black Panther, Feige revealed an approximate time as to when we will see the first Avengers 4 trailer, as well as a couple of interesting bits of MCU news.

To recap: Marvel President Kevin Feige straight up said we’ll be seeing the first Avengers 4 trailer before the end of the year, get hype! Secondly, Feige says Namor “could” make an appearance in either Avengers 4, or another MCU film. And finally, Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 is on hold still, after Disney fired director James Gunn. It’s okay though, Gunn got picked up by DC to write and possibly direct the Suicide Squad sequel.

The lesson here is: If you hang around the table long enough, you’re bound to pick up some scraps every once in a while.

Anyway, the MCU has been the subject of a plethora of leaks, as of late. A leaked photo of a character joining Avengers 4 surfaced on Instagram, this week, and then one actor flat out revealed his character would be in the film, and he did so with zero f*cks given. Marvel needs to get busy plugging those leaks, or the entire film will be spoiled before it hits theaters in May.
