What’s new in the theatrical rerelease of Avengers: Endgame?

This weekend, Disney is rereleasing a movie called Avengers: Endgame back into theaters. Considering the BILLIONS of dollars it made, the chances that you haven’t already seen it seem remote, but Disney has a way of luring you back: new, post-credits content. Per The A.V. Club, we now have an idea of what that entails.

First, there will be an introduction from director Anthony Russo. What’s in it? We don’t now. We imagine he’ll thank you for making the movie the most profitable in history…kinda. In fact, that’s probably a big part of the reason Disney is rereleasing Endgame. It’s currently in a neck-and-neck race with Avatar to become the most profitable movie of all time, and a rerelease can only help.

There will also be a “special sneak peak” at Spider-Man: Far From Home, which comes out next weekend. Far From Home deals with the aftermath of Endgame, so it makes sense that Disney would want to refresh people before it kicks off a new era of its cinematic universe.

On a related note, Samuel L. Jackson got hilariously angry on Instagram when he saw a pair of Far From Home posters in Los Angeles, one of which had Nick Fury’s eyepatch over the wrong eye:

And finally, the rerelease will include a deleted scene from Endgame that the press release describes as “unfinished.” If that doesn’t convince you to buy another ticket, nothing will.
