“Star Trek Universe” panel: October 5, 1 p.m. – Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden

The Walking Dead isn’t the only franchise with multiple major projects on the horizon. The Star Trek universe is also expanding, with Star Trek: Discovery‘s third season and upcoming series Star Trek: Picard both approaching. Cast and crew members from both series will be present during the Star Trek panel, with Star Trek: Discovery taking the stage first. Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Mary Wiseman, Anthony Rapp, Wilson Cruz and David Ajala will dive into what future seasons hold.

Star Trek: Picard will also get plenty of attention, with Sir Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Isa Briones, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Harry Treadaway and Evan Evagora speaking about the upcoming series. With any luck, fans will get another trailer or a release date for this one. It’s been a while since new information was released, and it’s one of the most-anticipated upcoming shows that will be at NYCC this year.

The fifth season of Outlander is heading our way in February, and fans have beyond ready. While it’s unlikely we’ll get to actually see any footage of the upcoming season, the panel discussion is bound to offer fans some hints of what’s to come. Leads Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe will be on hand, as will David Berry, Maria Doyle Kennedy and Duncan Lacroix.

The minds behind the series will also speak on Saturday’s panel. Executive producers Maril Davis and Ronald D. Moore will share some insight on the direction of the series. Even author Diana Gabaldon will join in on the fun!
