Every week, we were at WiC talk through the latest news items from the worlds of sci-fi, fantasy, movies, TV and books. It's called Take the Black Live, and there's a new episode of it to consume right now.

What do we talk about this week? Well, there are a lot of rumblings from Westeros, whether it be a release date for House of the Dragon season 2, new actors being cast, and hints of photo spreads and even trailers on the horizon. Batten down the hatches, because the dragons are coming through. Also, we get down with Dune: Part Two now that the movie has been out for a week. Is it a modern classic, or a sandy catastrophe? Watch below and find out:

We also run through some of the stuff we're currently watching on the tee-vee, which includes Shōgun, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Invincible and Curb Your Enthusiasm...although that last one is neither sci-fi nor fantasy so we don't spend a lot of time on it.

The Take the Black Podcast is on iTunes and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.

What are you watching? You can let us know in real time. We stream new episodes of Take the Black every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. CST on the WinterIsComing Facebook page and YouTube page. Join the discussion!
