There's no doubt that Wednesday season 2 was one of the most highly anticipated new releases to hit Netflix and all of streaming this year, and the first half of the season certainly didn't disappoint. The follow-up season finds Wednesday Addams digging her heels into a new mystery at Nevermore Academy, one that could potentially result in the death of her best friend Enid.
Wednesday's new mystery begins with a stalker creeping up behind her, but once she uncovers her stalker's identity, it's full steam ahead on finding out who's behind the deaths near Nevermore, what's going on with all those creepy one-eyed crows, and if Tyler has anything to do with the weird happenings. But there are still so many questions to be answered in part 2.
If you're still reeling from the shocking ending of Wednesday season 2 episode 4, which found Wednesday thrown through a window and being left for dead, and wondering what happens next, we're looking at the six biggest questions we have for the rest of the season. From Aunt Ophelia's arrival to Principal Weems' comeback, let's take a look at all the important unanswered questions!

Did Tyler really throw Wednesday out the window?
Sure, it seemed pretty obvious in season 2 episode 4 that Tyler's Hyde was the one who tossed Wednesday out of the window, but there seems to be a question about whether that's actually the truth. Admittedly, we didn't see the perspective of the toss from the hallway where they were standing. We only see Wednesday crashing through the glass from the outside.
Hunter Doohan seemed to confirm that Tyler did throw her out the window. (He also suggested that romance could still be in the cards for Tyler and Wednesday... not really buying that one though!) But there's probably more the story, including how long Wednesday will be in her coma before waking up.
Was that Wednesday's Aunt Ophelia?
Before chaos ensued at the Willow Hill asylum, Wednesday found all of the missing Outcasts in the secret LOIS wing, and that includes a mysterious woman she couldn't identify. Since Morticia's sister Ophelia, Wednesday's aunt she's never met, had been mentioned multiple times in part 1, that leads us to wonder: Could that mysterious Outcast have been Aunt Ophelia? We know Ophelia has missing and spent time at Willow Hill, so the math is certainly mathing here!
Is Marilyn Thornhill really dead?
When it comes to deaths in Wednesday, you can never count anything out. I mean, look at Slurp! (We'll get to him in a second, by the way.) But it's hard to believe that Marilyn Thornhill could be dead dead. Would they really bring back Christina Ricci just to kill her character? It's definitely possible, but it's also possible that Tyler didn't actually kill her. There could be a surprise twist in store, perhaps one that could make Thornhill actually powerful... or does the show already have enough Big Bads?

What will happen to Slurp?
Speaking of Slurp and Big Bads, the zombie that Pugsley inadvertently resurrected and kept alive throughout part 1 got on the loose and absolutely out of control. In the chaos at Willow Hill, Slurp continues to eat brains (including Dr. Fairburn's) and become more powerful. He's regenerating more and more with each brains, which presents the question of just how powerful he can get. What damage could he do, and how will they stop him? Part 2 could bring the end of Slurp!
Is Isadora Capri who she says she is?
Raise your hand if you don't trust Isadora Capri... Hopefully, everyone has their hands raised. From the moment we met Nevermore's new music teacher, I did not trust her. Perhaps that's the writers' intention: to plant a red herring. But she's just too sketchy to have nothing going on. Right now, we know that Judi is the Avian, but Capri clearly has some kind of connection to the season's mystery. She's always around, and Wednesday has picked up on this, too. Who is she?!
Why is Weems back... and where is Lady Gaga?!
When Netflix dropped the Wednesday season 2 part 2 trailer, Gwendoline Christie was revealed to be back as Principal Weems. Apparently the shape-shifting former Nevermore headmistress will be Wednesday's new spirit guide, but I'm not buying it. Does Wednesday simply have a dream or vision about Weems while she's in her coma? Or has Weems actually been here the whole time as Lurch or someone else? It's an intriguing thought!
Likewise, we still need to meet Lady Gaga's character Rosaline Rotwood, who has been described as a legendary teacher from Nevermore Academy who Wednesday later meets in part 2. Gaga's voice can be heard in voiceover at the end of the part 2 trailer, but we haven't seen her yet or know which episode will introduce Mother Monster. The Grammy winner's cameo appearance might be the most exciting unanswered question still to come in season 2.
Wednesday season 2 part 2 releases Sept. 3 on Netflix.
