stannis should be more appropriately described as ‘rock cakes of Hagrid’

“Resurrects on you horribly the next morning.” Can’t stop laughing over that, it’s genius. Also, Robert’s. Bwahahaa, soooo much subtext.

Haha! That last line about the Loras is priceless! Though the last line of the Catelyn is also pretty awesome. Mild spoilers indeed. These are the kind that I really like. They get people intrigued who haven’t read the books and they make people laugh who have. Hope the guy or gal who put this together expands the menu pretty soon.

I do not come to WiC.net to be taunted with cakes I don’t have! Shame, shame on you….
(forgiveness upon receipt of cake).

Loras and Renly as Bert and Ernie his hilarious. It makes me think of the Avenue Q song, “If You Were Gay” about Bert and Ernie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqcYJzc6lKw
The desserts are hilarious. My personal favorite would be the ones that wink at fans who have read all the books (The Catelyn, The Jon Snow). The Robert one is just dirty, lol, or maybe my head is just in the gutter. Poor Stannis.

Sansa’s cake is “Tooth-rottingly sweet”??? Charming. Well, I suppose it makes a difference from poisonous cretins calling her a “bitch” but it’s no less inaccurate and spiteful, really. And here I thought this site was sympathetic to the character…

Evidently whoever made the “look-alikes” picture doesn’t realize that for that concept to work, things have to…you know…look alike.

Yeah – it’s more ‘acts like’ than ‘looks like’

btw Jon’s mother’s name is Wylla.. Ned Stark said so to Robert in Episode 2 of the 1st season .. and I believe the same name was mentioned in the book as well.. Also If you read storm of swords closely you’ll find that Edric Dayne tells Arya [in an arya chapter.. cant remember which one...] that Jon’s MOTHER, which he calls WYLLA, was his [edric's] milk mother… so I don’t understand who came up with this silly R+L=J theory, and why there is so much discussion about it… I think it is pretty clear that Wylla is Jon’s mother.. why on earth would she lie about that to a little kid [edric]…. and I havent read adwd yet so if you disagree based on something that happens in book 5 just say “ull find out in book 5″..
HERP-DERPQuote Reply
Haha! Loved it, especially the mouth-watering pastries. Missing some Daenerys Dragon treat, Drogo horseradish tart and Joffrey Jawbreakers to name a few, but maybe this will be expanded in the near future :)

I think the Bert/Ernie jokes are getting old… can’t two friends just be roommates anymore?
Viktor MarcusQuote Reply
Oh, I don’t know, maybe because they are trying to keep Jon’s parentage a secret??
userjQuote Reply
userj,
BUT WHY WOULD SHE EVEN MENTION JON TO EDRIC DAYNE IF SHE WANTS TO KEEP HIM A SECRET
HERP-DERPQuote Reply
its clear now that he’s a troll. arguing other people about their own theories.
Argliac the ArrogantQuote Reply
Argliac the Arrogant,
If you insert “with” between “arguing” and “other” your sentence would make some sense :)… and just because I had just disproved a popular but silly theory, that does not make me a troll…
HERP-DERPQuote Reply
HERP-DERP,
My friend if you don’t want to be called a Troll I would recommend not to argue or refute anyone’s claim especially if you haven’t read all 5 books.
Joshua TaylorQuote Reply
So no new posts about the Daily Raven? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujZzs3uTKlk
KnurkQuote Reply
The answer to why there are so many theories is easy, that happens when you have to wait many many years for the story to actually go on. I think George can’t write anything anymore, which was not a fan theory before. ; )
AbendsternQuote Reply
HERP-DERP,
The theory was created before the book where Dayne mentions Jon’s mother, the theory being if Robbert knew he would have killed Jon.
It still exists because fans enjoy speculation and despite some sentences the truth about his parentage is only hinted at in the books and mentioned in passing. I think what people have a problem with is as opposed to saying “I think Eddard was honest to Robert in the first book and it was Wylla, here’s what supports this theory” you are basically saying “YOU’RE WRONG” when his parentage to most is yet to be set in stone.
P.S. I want R+L=J to be true so badly, but at this point I don’t think it is :’(

I love the second one, and I will never look at an eclair the same way again!
SJGIMQuote Reply
HERP-DERP,
Wrong, he says that he and Jon are milk-brothers, not that Wylla is Jon’s mother. Not to mention all the other women that are suggested as Jon’s mother in the book.
